From all of us (me) to all of you, I wish you a happy holiday season — whether you celebrate because you’re of a faith that celebrates this time of year, or if you celebrate because you like cookies and presents and/or because you like getting drunk on New Year’s Eve, or even if you don’t celebrate any of it, possibly because you live somewhere where it’s winter, which is the shittiest season ever and it’s too damn cold to do anything other than sit under an electric blanket for months on end while waiting for spring. (Anakin Skywalker was wrong: our true enemy is not sand. It is snow.)
I want to thank you all for supporting this blog during its first year. I have received so many kind messages from people from all over the planet, and seeing the readership grow over time to what it is has been a (wonderful, gratifying) surprise. If you had told me a year ago that I’d be running a Star Wars recap/humor blog…well, OK, I actually wouldn’t have said you were crazy or anything. I’d have been like “yeah, that kinda sounds like something I’d do.” But I would not have believed so many people would want to read it.
In the weeks ahead, I hope to get a few more new features built out for this place to keep things interesting as we start in on Snark Wars Year 2. I hope you’ll continue to join me here.
With that, enjoy the holidays: even if it solely involves watching Star Wars cartoons in your pajamas or going to see Rogue One for a seventeenth time (that sounds pretty sweet.) On your way out, please enjoy these Star Wars holiday-related items:
The Cast of The Clone Wars Singing “The 12 Days of Christmas” in Character (listening to this added actual years to my life. I am convinced this is canon.)
May the Force Be With You, Happy Life Day, and may 2017 bring us all even more Star Wars-flavored craziness! (You know that next Maul episode of Rebels is going to be something. Don’t even try to deny it.)
